OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Love food? Love food trucks?  Food trucks circle the wagons at the H&8th monthly food truck festival and can be seen all over the metro.  Usually you have to follow a food truck on Twitter or Facebook to find their daily location and specials.  There is now an food truck app called Truck It OKC that will show you the food trucks in your area. You can also follow on twitter @truckitokc.

But if you want all the food trucks in one place more often then monthly, head over to The Bleu Garten opening Thursday at the corner of Hudson and 10th in Oklahoma City.  Bleu Garten is a food truck court complete with awnings, umbrellas and picnic benches. The once vacant lot has been reinvented into a comfortable outdoor venue with "clean restrooms, alcohol, shaded seating, misters, heaters, light music and theater entertainment - a combination of luxury that no food truck in Oklahoma has been able to acquire and few food truck parks in the nation provide."

Blue Garten is opening during the Midtown and Automobile Alley renaissance with close proximity to neighborhoods, business, and apartments.  The Midtown Farmers Market is openig next door along with the Pop-up Shops.

According to Hunter Wheat, "The concept of The Bleu Garten can be found in its name.  The French word bleu is associated with one of the most influential culinary academies in the world.  Le Cordon Bleu, translated "Blue Ribbon", is thought of as a term to describe excellence in the kitchen. We use the German word garten because we plan on modeling our ambiance after some of the cleanest and entertaining bier gartens in America, to give the consumer an outdoor dining experience that is completely unique compared to anywhere else in Oklahoma."

Different food trucks will rotate at Bleu Garten, check out the calendar on the website.  Opening day, Thursday September 25th will feature Burrito Bandido and Phil Me Up along with others.  Food trucks interested in participating should visit the website

Fusion is the focus. "Our name is tied into the concept of fusion with not only the food trucks, but with the fusion of the renaissance culture that is beginning to sweep Oklahoma."
