OKLAHOMA CITY – As the mayoral race winds down in its final weeks, a mysterious, new group has established a web and online ad presence. They are called “OKC United" at and on Twitter @StrongerOKC.

No, it’s not a soccer club, it is apparently a (Chamber?) front group for the equally-mysterious “Catalyst Oklahoma.”

The website – which uses the same font featured on Mick Cornett’s re-election campaign signs - wants visitors to know that “they” are interested in keeping the city’s renaissance and “momentum” going forward. Their issues are: neighborhood safety, public safety, economic opportunity, cultural renaissance and infrastructure.

Doing a little digging – actually a lot – we found a number and an Edmond P.O. box. The number went to a man’s voicemail, although we could not discern what the man’s name was. Curiously, the web host also hosts the website for Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt.

Anyway, Red Dirt Report left a name and number and a message encouraging them to call us back.

We will let our readers know if we do here back from this mysterious group.
