OKLAHOMA CITY – At midday today, another earthquake struck
Lincoln County, Okla., this one reported as a magnitude 3.7. It was focused on
a rural area north of Highway 62 between the towns of Meeker and Prague.

This is the same area where last night’s 5.6 quake was
centered. It was the biggest in Oklahoma’s recorded history. Damage has been
reported in Prague and the town of Sparks and in other areas. Aftershocks and
reverberations from the quakes are being felt as far away as St. Louis, Mo.,
where a Red Dirt Report reader
informed us that last night’s whopper-of-a-quake as feeling like “a heavy
person was walking up our hallway.”

Red Dirt Report reported from Stillwater, Okla. late last night following the 5.6 that struck not far from that city.

YouTube researcher “Dutchsinse,” also based in St. Louis, is
monitoring the recent quakes here in central Oklahoma. Red Dirt Report is familiar with the epicenter near Prague and
Sparks and is going to the scene to conduct further investigation into the
quakes. Dutchsinse and others are so far speculating as to the cause of the
quakes right now and we thought it important to look into it ourselves. A report from the scene is forthcoming.

In the meantime, here is a video report covering the
aftermath from the quake in the community of Sparks.
