OKLAHOMA CITY -- We here at Oklahoma Watchdog have been keeping a close eye on developments related to the three missing members of the Jamison family - father Bobby, mother Sherrilynn and six-year old daughter Madyson - all from the Eufaula area.

Last seen Oct. 9 near the community of Red Oak, in Latimer County, the Jamison family was reportedly looking for land in the area where their abandoned pickup - complete with starving dog - was discovered on Oct. 17.

Since that discovery there has been no sign of the missing family, despite a thorough search of the area. They have simply disappeared without a trace.

And now, on this last day of October, we see that Latimer County Sheriff Israel Beauchamp was reported in The Oklahoman today that there are no new developments and that the search is being scaled back.

Beauchamp said the search would "continue on a smaller scale ... until the Jamison family is found."

This is a very sad situation and very perplexing one. Reports note that in addition to the dog, cell phones, clothing, cash and other items make it appear the family had every intention of returning to the vehicle. A very strange situation.

Of course if anyone has any information on the family's whereabouts or other information pertaining to the case, you are urged to call the Latimer County Sheriff's Office at (918) 465-2161.
