How to add bookmarks to your home screen on mobile

For quick access on mobile devices, when viewing Red Dirt Report in your browser - you can follow these steps to add a link to your home screen.


Apple iPhone / iPad

With Safari open to the home page of Red Dirt Report, click the    icon.

From here, click the following "Add to Home Screen" icon.


This will prompt you to change the name of the link (if you wish). Otherwise, just click "Add" and you should now see a Red Dirt Report icon on your home screen.



With Chrome open, click on the settings icon - - in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.  This will open a menu with several options.

  • Click the "Bookmarks" option.  This will then take you to a screen where you can edit the name of the bookmark.  Click "Save"
  • From here go back to the Browser settings menu, and then open the Bookmarks folder. From here locate your newly created bookmark and press and hold your finger on the bookmark you want to place on your home screen. Once you’ve done this you will see a new menu appear and in the list will be an option Add to Home screen. Press this option.
