BOOK REVIEW: The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter & Miracles by Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D (Hay House) 2005

An utterly fascinating and captivating book, Dr. Bruce H. Lipton’s 2005 book, The Biology of Belief, still resonates years later, and offers inspiring insight into human consciousness and the hidden powers all humans have – powers that are not always tapped and utilized.

In fact, I was able to read Lipton’s book thanks to the guy taking my blood during a recent check-up. As he found my vein, we got to talking about consciousness and synchronicity and similar subjects. Quite, well, synchromystically, my friend had a copy of The Biology of Belief right there in the room. It was as if it was meant to be!

The problem with the world of science is that long ago it lost its connection to spirit. Lipton tries to highlight that fact and show the reader that science and spirit are not mutually exclusive to each other. They can work in tandem and have for thousands of years.

Our thoughts impact our biology, he writes and if we train ourselves properly we can positively impact our bodies going forward. It's all about belief and it's each and every one of us.

We all know love is a powerful thing. So are those thoughts transmitting those feelings of love. We are all connected and it is time more scientists (think Dr. Eben Alexander, for instance).

Lipton, I believe, is just scratching the surface. He is asking questions and providing his opinions on these easy-to-read pages. Take of it what you will. I found some comfort in what Lipton says here but I think you'll have to read The Biology of Belief yourself.
