MUSTANG, Okla. - The drive to Wilburton, Oklahoma is well worth the two to three hour trip to visit Robbers Cave State Park.  The landscape changes out in the southeastern part of the state, where there are tall beautiful evergreens in the Sans Bois Mountains.

Once inside the park, follow the marked path to find Robbers Cave and the stone corral.  There are plenty of opportunities to climb, hike, and explore the boulders and caves throughout the park.  Getting down into Robbers Cave is a little tricky, as there is a steep slope to get there, but it is manageable.  The trek to the cave and the summit is definitely a workout, but the view at the top is beautiful.  Be sure to plan a visit to Robbers Cave State Park, enjoy the scenery, and do some exploring.
