Miki Booth recently challenged Sen. Coburn to look deeper into his friend Obama's past. |

OKLAHOMA CITY – During the August recess, many legislators hold town hall events. U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn of Muskogee is no different, appearing at several such public events this month.
And one of those public events drew a large crowd during his appearance this week in Claremore.
Wyandotte, Okla. resident Miki Booth is a native of Hawaii and former community organizer who is now a patriot and lover of liberty and truth. She is unafraid to confront the powerful and has done so effectively in the name of truth.
Red Dirt Report has interviewed Booth before and is familiar with her research into exposing the fraud that is President Barack Hussein Obama. Two years ago, Booth, who ran in Oklahoma’s second district as an independent constitutional conservative, was featured in an article at World Net Daily telling fellow Tea Partiers that Obama’s eligibility to be president is a big issue. And for Booth and many others, it still is as we are less than 90 days from Election Day 2012.
So, we were interested to learn that Booth had a confrontation with Coburn during his visit to the Claremore town hall event. Booth said she came prepared with information and while the naturally cantankerous Coburn bristled at Booth’s questions regarding Obama’s birth certificate and eligibility, the senator would end up agreeing to talk to Maricopa County, Ariz. Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has sent a “posse” to Hawaii, led by lead volunteer investigator Mike Zullo, to independently investigate Obama’s eligibility.
As the controversial Arizona sheriff reported last month in a highly-publicized press conference: “My investigators believe that the long-form birth certificate was manufactured electronically and that it did not originate in paper format as claimed by the White House.”
Anyone who follows news and politics knows about this revelation and the controversy swirling around Obama and his origins. Yet the most conservative Senator seems to pretend not to be aware or interested in researching the subject further – at least right now.
“I really think he believes Obama is a Christian,” Booth told Red Dirt Report, adding that as she understands it, Coburn and Obama are “warm friends” and that “they’ve prayed together.” Coburn has even publicly called Obama a "good personal friend."
But Booth is convinced Coburn – considered the most conservative Senator – is embracing pure propaganda as offered to legislators by the Congressional Research Service.
Booth explained to us an in a Facebook post that she was the first person he called on. He noted Arpaio’s findings that Obama’s birth certificate was “forged,” along with his Selective Service card and a Social Security number that was issued in Connecticut, not his native Hawaii.
Booth said Coburn refuted nearly everything she brought up, saying that Social Security numbers are not by state (they were until Obama changed it) and then he pointed to the findings by Snopes.com and Factcheck.org, affiliated with the Obama-friendly Annenberg Public Policy Center – dubious sources, Booth said, and overwhelmingly liberal.
As she tried to continue with her points, Coburn barked at her and said; “You don’t get to talk anymore! Ask your question. We’ve already wasted enough time on this and it’s not going to solve anything. There’s more important stuff to work on.”
Booth fired back, saying, “So, we should just let him get away with it?”
And Coburn, knowing the heat was on, coolly responded: “He won’t get away with it. No one ever gets away with it.”
It was after this that Booth got Coburn to agree to do a follow-up with Arpaio and his posse regarding their findings and research on Obama and his time in Hawaii.
Regarding the atmosphere in the town hall, Booth told Red Dirt Report that most people in the room were Coburn fans and that it was a “suck-up fest” and that many people were offended that Booth confronted their beloved member of Congress. Booth said people said nasty things about her and told her to “Shut up, bitch” among other things.”
But Booth is not easily cowed. She said she would later track Coburn down and ask him to stay true to his statement that he would follow-up with Arpaio and see what he discovered. She said she also got a chance to give him a copy of her book Memoirs of a Community Organizer from Hawaii.
Interestingly, except for a friend who was with Booth, most people did not back them up in their hard-hitting questions – questions that clearly made Obama pal Tom Coburn uncomfortable. In fact when Coburn shouted her down, the friend said that he and others were “rude” and that Miki Booth “is the most patriotic person” working to do what is right for this country.
Later, this woman would directly confront Coburn over Obama’s ties to Islam and about what “responsibility” Coburn has when it comes to exposing this information that has so far been largely hidden.
Booth said Coburn allegedly replied that “We need to treat this as a ‘love’ thing. He used the word ‘love.’” She added that Coburn also held his microphone in a seemingly threatening manner.
But Coburn would “soften up,” she said, once he realized she was from Hawaii and serious about the issue of Obama’s eligibility and his Marxist influences (i.e. Bill Ayers, Weather Underground connections).
“He said ‘I am committed to this lady and I will call Sheriff Joe Arpaio,’” Booth said. “He said ‘I will get to it when I can – I get back to D.C. in three weeks.’”
Booth said after Coburn agreed to contact Arpaio, she felt like it was “an accomplishment” to get Coburn to at least give Arpaio a call.
We asked Booth why Hawaiian authorities have been willing to go along with the fairy tale that is Barack Obama’s early life. For instance, Obama said in a letter that he was born at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu. But the hospital administration has not come out firmly to confirm this.
“The Hawaiians are in lockstep with Chicago,” she said. “Hawaii is the satellite office for Chicago.”
Booth went to the hospital and asked someone who worked there why this was the case. She was told “the administration does not want to get embroiled” in the issue regarding Obama’s birth, adding that it is a “no-no subject.”
Red Dirt Report did contact Sen. Coburn's office seeking comment. We had not heard from them by the time this article was posted Friday afternoon.
Booth said that the issues of Obama’s eligibility and birth certificate and radical leanings are not going away. She pointed to Donald Trump’s public statements and recent revelations by Obama’s fellow Columbia student Wayne Allyn Root, a Vegas oddsmaker and 2008 Libertarian Party vice-presidential candidate. These are men who have decided to be intellectually honest about a subject that the mainstream media has long tried to ignore and/or marginalize.
But Booth sees the public statements by both regular citizens and celebrities like Root, Trump and others as a sign that people are no longer going to keep quiet about something they feel is being ignored by the media and politicians like Coburn.
“People are not afraid to speak up,” Booth said.

UPDATE: 5:08 p.m. (August 10, 2012) We did receive a response from Becky Bernhardt in Coburn's office. She wrote: "If Dr. Coburn said he would look into it then he will look into the Sheriff's findings." Bernhardt also said that it was not the good doctor's intention to be seen as "hostile" during his exchange with Miki Booth. He simply wanted to move to the next question.
